1) Events: Interviews, Seminars, Workshops, Classes

Last Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 5PM, I was the guest on
David Gibson's show on BBSRadio ... We covered lots of interesting topics; I hope some
of you got to hear it... I didn't quite get this email bulleting out in time, but you can enjoy
David's show (and many others) every week and listen to the archive of the Feb. 23 show here.

David was the host and organizer of a wonderful conference last month that I was
honored to give a presentation at ... The Globe Sound Healing Conference (There will be
another in San Francisco in May 2008)... It was a marvelous experience where I got to
meet lots of interesting friends and connect with many kindred souls ... more here.

Two dear friends and colleagues, Dean Shrock, PhD & Leonard Laskow, MD are giving a
workshop on The Law of Attraction locally (if you happen to live near here in
southern Oregon) tomorrow (Saturday March 1, 2008). I hope to see you there!

Leonard is also conducting a seminar in April (The Art & Science of Healing With Love)
at Jackson Wellsprings in Ashland (a favorite hot springs for a soak, too!) All highly recommended!

2) New audio download - audio transcript - my presentation at Globe Sound Healing Conference

Digital Audio download:
Sacred Geometry and Sound Healing :
How Ancient Hermetic Laws, Quantum Physics and
Universal Symbolic Archetypes all converge in Your Optimum Wellness

For those of you who weren't able to attend my presentation at the conference in Woodland Hills
last month (or those who would like to listen to it again any tim at your leisure!) I'm uploading a freshly
edited* audio transcript of my presentation there. The GeometryCode logo
(6 circular images surrounding the central one is the perfect backdrop for listening to this talk
as we explore the 7 Hermetic Laws, etc.)
(* Isn't it amazing how many times you can catch yourself saying redundant phrases like
'you know' when you listen carefully! ... these have been edited out! :-)

==================================================================

3) Recent products ... (Still Fairly) New :-)

Enhance your edits: Geometric Video Patterns (Gradient Wipe Transition Images) for Final Cut Pro!
If you use Final Cut Pro (or know someone who does) ... check out these new
gradient wipe transition images! I'm still working on some sample clips, so stay tuned!
They just moved to the top of my project list so you will be able to see what I'm talking about
(in case 'gradient wipe transition' doesn't mean anything to you! :-)

4) Website(s) of Interest

Here are a couple of interesting websites I discovered last month as a result of
connecting with new friends at the Globe Sound Healing Conference:
Cymascope and Sound Healing Resource

I have been savoring the exquisite images in Martin Gray's new book Sacred Earth!
It now occupies a prominent place on our living room table. Check it out!
On pages 8-9 he gives a short but excellent commentary on sacred geometry, and he
includes lovely photos of places I've been such as the Great Pyramid,
Stonehenge, Men-an-Tol, St. Michaels Mount, Karnak, Luxor, Dendera, Mt. Sinai,
Monte Albán, Sedona, Haleakala, and places I'd like to go such as:
Assisi, the Parthenon, Jerusalem, Mt. Kailash, Vishnu Temple Complex of Srirangam,
the Golden Temple at Amritsar, India, Angkor Temple Complex, Fuji-San, the Potala Palace,
Uluru (Ayers Rock), Easter Island, Lake Titicaca, Machu Picchu, Chaco Canyon, to name
but a few. SACRED EARTH; Places of Peace and Power, by Martin Gray. National Geographic
photographer Martin Gray has visited and photographed more than 1000 sacred places
in more than 100 countries. His new book Sacred Earth features 200 lovely color
photographs of pilgrimage sites in 80 countries.

Here's a fun and lively clip from Robert Dakota (World Viewz):
It spans the globe and even features a bit of the LightSOURCE screensaver
(by Mika Feinberg, inspired in part by Sacred Geometry Design Sourcebook)

Thanks to Barbara H. for these neat hexagram-fractal (crop formation analysis) links
and a lovely animation sequence.

Thanks to Patti C. for sending this TED talk link; in addition to some amazing underwater camofluage,
note the stunning luminescent deep sea geometries!
and of course, there are many more of interest (I've just seen a few, and all so far have been great):

Star Wheel Animation - Colleague Aya (we were both presenters at the
Global Sacred Geometry Conference in Sedona 4 years ago; my how the illusion of time flies! :-)
has been busy creating some fun new art; here is a neat animation that showcases some of his
lovely mandalas.

Iasos always has fun and interesting items in his bulletins; some you may have seen;
I think the cats at the bottom of the page are a hoot! :-)

Andrew Monkman sent these links with his interesting articles about the Flower of Life;
this one has photos of the image burned in stone in Abydos, Egypt (we took similar
photos while there in 1992), and a neat stereogram image.

In case you're looking for some tasty recipes (everything is interconnected!)...
I've posted some of my favorites here (tortilla soup, fruit slaw and granola):

5) Book(s) of Interest - A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle
This is one book that I wholeheartedly agree with Oprah about (and we're only about half through it!)
Eckhart has written another masterpiece along with his Power of Now and related work.
This book is an excellent complement to the wisdom in A Course In Miracles.
He eloquently describes how the egoic mind projects a veil that appears to obstruct our
real, eternal selves, and offers insight for going beyond those veils. I'm signed up to
participate in the course Oprah is offering on Eckhart's book; what a great benchmark indicator
of transition in "mass consciousness" from outer directed seeking to finding true peace within!

==================================================================

6) Movie(s) of Interest

The Bucket List - a fun film with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman that explores what
we might do (or be) if time and money had different emphasis and we REALLY got to
the heart of what our life is about... Lots more favorite movies & videos on my blog.

==================================================================

7) Music of Interest (new category! :-)

Have you ever discovered music that is so moving that it brings a tear or two every time you hear it?
Or perhaps a melody that (happily) haunts you for days? Or both at the same time? I've been enjoying
music from many favorite artists via Pandora.com. The other day, while listening to my "New Age"
channel the other day (one of many ranging from Ancient Future to Eva Cassidy to Hapa to
Michael Hedges to Nickel Creek to Steve Roach to Tribalistas to Vangelis to Vollenweider to name
just a few ), I discovered the music of Hayley Westenra from Christchurch, New Zealand. What a
beautiful voice (and lovely place to be from; we thoroughly enjoyed our trip to NZ a few years ago!)
Here are my two favorite songs from this exquisite voice! (Note: Pandora doesn't play songs
"on demand" but if you listen for a while (eventually) you'll likely hear particular songs you're interested in.)

May It Be by Hayley Westenra
(originally sung by Enya on the first Lord of the Rings movie)

Prayer by Hayley Westenra
This appears to be the original song by Secret Garden & Karen Matheson (also very nice)

Both ot these songs by Hayley Westenra are on the Odyssey album

8) Affiliate(s) of the Month - zazzle.com

Here's a link to my zazzle gallery of favorite photographs and sacred geometry-related images:
Lots to explore here... and more on the way.

9) Quote(s) of the Month

"I am alone in nothing. Everything I think or say or do touches all the universe." - A Course In Miracles
Workbook Lesson #54 (excerpt from review of Lesson #19):

"What do you forgive? Well, it's simple. Whatever comes up in front of your face on any given day,
that's what you're supposed to forgive. It's not a mystery; it's always right there in front of you. You
may think you can't see what's in your unconscious mind; well, you don't have to. All you have to see
is the symbolic representation of it that is being presented to you right now... symbolic of that which
already exists in your own unconscious mind. As you forgive that, you're REALLY forgiving yourself."
- Gary Renard, The End of Reincarnation

"What you haven't realized is that you're already free, and you always have been." - Don Shimoda,
in Illusions by Richard Bach, (p. 114)

10) Image(s) of the Month (with just the tiniest bit of advertising ... again - 2 more to go :-)
Those of you with the GeometryCode screensaver will recognize the origins of this pattern;
This pattern is also featured on page 116 of SGDS, and it appears in a crop circle Liddington Crop Circle
Formation. I have a fun 3D animation of this pattern that will be on my next DVD (still
working on that, too! :-)
