1) Events: Interviews, Seminars, Workshops, Classes, Exhibits

Interviews with Deborah Pietsch of Wake Up:Shift Is Happening

Here are 4 interviews Deborah Pietsch of Wake Up:Shift Is Happening did with me a year ago; we had fun talking about sacred geometry, the 7 Hermetic Laws, and a quite a bit of pure non-dual metaphysics! You might recognize some of the Martineau Solar System Series prints that had cameo appearances as backdrops to the interviews. Enjoy!
Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4

I'm looking for another local (or regional) venue to exhibit of all 12 of my "Martineau Solar System Series" giclée prints (gallery, performing arts venue, cafe, bank, science museum, public business office, etc.) (since they don't look nearly as nice stored in the big cardboard box in my living room :-) Suggestions appreciated! :-)

On Sep. 12-17, 2010, Dr. Leonard Laskow will present his wonderful seminar "Opening To Oneness Through Love"
at Esalen Institute on a particularly lovely portion of the Calif. coast;
highly recommended as are all his works, as well as the food, baths, scenery, community and amazingly
fun ambience of Esalen Institute.

I'm STILL working on the 2nd book; meanwhile if you haven't already, check out the 8-part article
series (links on my Events and Resources pages) which are moving closer and closer (thanks for your
patience!) to being fully expanded into the Geometry Code book. I'm focusing more time on this latest labor of love! :-)

If you are interested in sacred geometry workshops in the Ashland or Medford, Oregon area (or vicinity) please let me know! Here's my list of current and past events. I'm getting closer to another local workshop soon! If you have a local, regional (or global for that matter, as long as my expenses are covered) venue to suggest, please let me know!

2) New Products, Articles and Tutorials

I'm STILL working on the 'behind the scenes' foundational architecture for a brand new website... Stay tuned!
Meanwhile, I recently made a FaceBook page for GeometryCode.com (just do a search on "GeometryCodeCom".)
This new FaceBook page actually has a bit easier access to 4 main product categories (some of you might not have known I had that many! :-) ...

The Martineau Solar System Series...
Sacred Geometry Design Sourcebook (probably the most familiar to readers of this bulletin) ...
The Geometry Code - Meditation Tool, ScreenSaver, and eBooklet ... and
Sacred Geometry Video Patterns (Gradient Wipe Transitions for Final Cut Pro)

==================================================================

3) Recent Introductions ... (Even Still Fairly) New :-)

I recently introduced a new Twitter page for GeometryCode ...
and there's vast unexplored 'twee-territory' to explore! :-)

4) Website(s) of Interest

My younger sibling sent me this link to a cool looking spiral "Snail" guitar; I imagine the acoustics are equally engaging...

The 15 Coolest Cases of Biomimicry has some neat geometric connections, as one might expect! My favorite part of this article: "PAX Scientific out of San Rafael, California has been developing air and fluid movement technologies based on such beautiful and recurring natural designs as the Fibonacci sequence, logarithmic spirals and the Golden Ratio. These shapes align with the observation that the path of least resistance in this universe isn't a straight line. Put all this together and you get the "Streamlining Principle," being applied to fans, mixers, impellers and such that move air and liquids around in systems. Such fans on motors, compressors and pumps of all sizes and in all applications could save at least 15% of all the electricity consumed in the US."

"But what if itís all an illusion, a sort of cosmic frill, or a side effect of something else going on at deeper levels of reality?" This quote, while quite applicable to the Inception movie reviewed below, was actually from Erik Verlinde in the article, A Scientist Takes On Gravity.

Lots of polyhedral models this month! We'll start with Geodesic Domes & Polyhedra models by Ron Nelson (look neat; haven't tried these 'hands-on' yet.)

I haven't tried these polyhedral JovoToys models either, but they look rather versatile!

I recently DID get a set of polyhedral 'Bamboo Corps' models from Robert Graham with detailed instructions; thanks, Robert! I've
only had a few moments to look them over, but it all looks quite well thought out; a thorough review is forthcoming. Meanwhile, here's a link to his site, which will probably be of particular interest to high-school or college teachers.

Inception

Inception and Forgiving the Dream We Made Up is a blog post I made in response to other excellent blog musings about the film Inception (which not only features the idea of living in a dream and projection, but even refers to forgiveness and unconscious guilt! Not bad for a 'mainstream' movie! :-) Even the 'totem' (device for figuring out if you're dreaming) was sort of a top-like shape like you'd imagine fitting between two tori (donut shapes) stacked on top of each other.

Flying Cat Travel and Travel Essentials

Would you like to visit places like the Great Pyramid or Stonehenge to experience their geometry directly?
How about England's crop formations, Katmandu or some other inspiring and/or exotic locations?

We love to travel! If you're like us, you savor the adventure of visiting new places, meeting new friends,
learning about different cultures, sharing smiles, ideas and fun with people across the planet. We're always
interested in figuring out how to make our travel dollars deliver the best experiences possible. We have links
on our FlyingCatTravel.com website to PriceLine, which has rates often as good as or better than the online vendors,
so, if you're going to arrange your travel plans online anyway (like most of us do nowadays), why not get rates
that are frequently better than the rest (or at least comparable) and support the GeometryCode staff (a.k.a. my wife
and I) by booking your travel with FlyingCatTravel.com :-)

Travel Essentials - We've used several of the items (including luggage and accessories) from Travel Essentials,
such as the Anne McAlpin packing board, which is actually quite handy to keep your suitcase organized.
Lots of neat gear here.

This image ties in with the travel link above (if you fancy traveling to Egypt anyway :-) The Great Pyramid at Giza, Egypt has both Pi and Phi proportions encoded in it's amazing 13 acre structure and so much more!

9) 2010 (now annual) multimedia CONTEST!

I've decided to make the Sacred Geometry Multimedia Contest an annual event, so you NOW have
until Dec. 31, 2010 to send me entries (inspired by Sacred Geometry Design Sourcebook, or other
images or ideas on the site) to win a free GeometryCode screensaver and eBooklet!

==================================================================

10) Request for Submissions

If you would like to stay connected and network with kindred souls online, check out my pages on
Twitter, LinkedIn and FaceBook. I'm enjoying connecting with both recent and long-time friends and colleagues
and discovering new friends of friends (and soon friends of friends of friends... :-)

As always, please let me know how I can support you. Please send me any interesting items about
sacred geometry or related interests (since everything is interrelated!
Thanks for your interest & support! :-)

BTW, I always appreciate enthusiastic reviews on my Amazon SGDS book page, and it's a good
"win-win" way to cross-promote your work as well.
