1) Events: Interviews, Seminars, Workshops, Classes, Exhibits

I'll be the guest on an interview with Lance White, the "Zany Mystic" on his BBS radio show,
Saturday, February 7, 2009 7-8PM PST. Thanks to Gerardus for making the connection for us!
Some of Lance's prior guests on the show have included Steve Bhaerman, Bob Frissell,
Fred Burks, and many other names you might recognize.

All 12 of my "Martineau Solar System Series" giclée prints are now on exhibit until March 10, 2009
at Pangea restaurant, 272 E. Main Street, Ashland, Oregon. Pangea is a favorite place to get a healthy,
delicious meal! This is a quick 5-week exhibit, so check it out ASAP! I've posted more details and photos
here on the Ashland Resource Center website.

Hands-on sacred geometry workshop/class in the Ashland/Medford, Oregon area!
By popular demand, I'm offering another workshop in the Medford/Ashland area...
Contact me for details...
To give you an idea of what we will likely cover, here's my list of current and past events.

2) New Products, Articles and Tutorials

The Seventh Hermetic Law (Generation or Gender) ... is the topic for my most recent article on the
Spirit of Ma'at website. This series of articles contains brief excerpts from my upcoming book,
The Geometry Code. I've listed the articles in this series (4 more to follow) on my Resources page,
as well as my Events page.

Thanks to Mike L. for the link, and Sally M. for her encouragement to me to submit an "excerpt of an excerpt"
for the Ashland Daily Tidings (local Southern Oregon newspaper); here's a bit about how lasting inner peace
fits beautifully with the Law of Cause and Effect (which we featured last month.)

This month's installment of the "beginner's corner" will consist of a link to an email conversation about how
any symbol can be used with benevolent (inclusive, real, eternal, kind) or malevolent (exclusive, phantom,
fleeting, begrudging) intent ... it's all in the thought system or perspective that one brings to the issue.

5) Book(s) of Interest

Living With Geometry by Mike Green

Mike has a background in Freemasonry and surveying. He has a knack for discovering interesting
relationships between everyday objects as well as ancient ones such as the Great Pyramid. I
recently spoke with him on the phone again; his passion for discovering the meaning encoded
in geometric forms beyond the superficial is quite evident.

==================================================================

6) Movie(s) of Interest

The Visitor garnered two 'thumbs up' from our living room recently; a story about compassion and open-mindedness.

==================================================================

7) Music of Interest

Ancient Future has been a favorite world fusion group for many years; one of my favorite albums is Asian Fusion.

8) Affiliate(s) of the Month

The Leap! documentary DVD (even though I haven't seen it in it's entirety) promises to be superb on the basis of
some of the excerpts I've seen (including Gary Renard). Check it out!

9) Quote(s) of the Month

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the
sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows higher than
soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that's
keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)"
Michael Hedges, Taproot - from a poem by E.E. Cummings

"All multiplication happens by division of the wholeness ... All centers are one."
Foster Gamble

"One cannot see well except with the heart, the essential is invisible to the eyes."
— Antoine de Saint-Exupery, The Little Prince

10) Image(s) of the Month

Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus Per Martineau

This image of "Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus Per Martineau" includes outer planets that are 'rulers' of winter astrological signs.
Note the amazingly simple geometry that relates the planets Saturn and Uranus: 2 concentric circles and the equilateral
triangle that provides their proportional spacing... and over 99% accurate! The octagram (8-pointed star) defines the
orbital relationship between Jupiter and Saturn with comparable accuracy.

These patterns are similar to hundreds of patterns found in SGDS

11) 2008 (now annual) multimedia CONTEST!

I've decided to make the Sacred Geometry Multimedia Contest an annual event, so you NOW have
until Dec. 31, 2009 to send me entries (inspired by Sacred Geometry Design Sourcebook, or other
images or ideas on the site) to win a free GeometryCode screensaver and eBooklet!

==================================================================

12) Request for Submissions

If you would like to stay connected and network with kindred souls online, check out
LinkedIn. I'm enjoying connecting with both recent and long-time friends and colleagues
and discovering new friends of friends (and soon friends of friends of friends... :-)

As always, please let me know how I can support you. Please send me any interesting items about
sacred geometry or related interests (since everything is interrelated!
Thanks for your interest & support! :-)
